Gym? Swimming? Driving? Maybe Next Year… or Never
Some people set goals and achieve them.
I set goals and let them marinate until they become legends of unfulfilled ambition.
Welcome to my To-Do List Hall of Shame—where dreams go to nap indefinitely and motivation runs out of fuel before the journey even begins.
The Gym Membership I’ve Never Used
Why did I think I’d get abs? I don’t know.
Why do I keep thinking I’ll get abs? I really don’t know.
The idea of walking into a gym and lifting weights while someone in the corner deadlifts my entire existence is… unsettling.
Reality Check:
- Have I watched gym reels for “inspiration”? ✅
- Have I bought running shoes that have only run through shopping malls? ✅
- Have I used my gym membership? ❌😂
Honestly, the only six-pack I’m committed to is the one that comes chilled and in a bottle.
Swimming: The Kindergarten Dream That Never Left the Poolside
Fact: I’ve been “planning” to learn swimming since kindergarten.
Also fact: I still don’t know how to swim.
I’m at that stage where even a life jacket gives up on me.
Reasons I Still Haven’t Learned:
- Water is deep and I like breathing.
- If humans were meant to swim, we’d have built-in floaties.
- I can still chill near the pool with a drink—which is technically participating, right?
At this point, I’ll probably learn teleportation before I learn to swim.
Driving: Planes Might Be More Cost-Efficient Anyway
Driving a car?
Never learned.
Never got a license.
And with fuel prices skyrocketing, I’m seriously considering if owning a private jet would be cheaper. ✈️💸
Here’s the real problem:
- Public transport exists.
- Cabs exist.
- Walking exists. (Okay, I don’t really do this, but it exists.)
So, do I really need to learn how to drive? Probably.
Will I? Let’s see what AI-driven flying cars look like in 2030.
Final Thoughts: The Art of Strategic Procrastination
At this point, my to-do list has turned into a historical document—best preserved for future generations to study.
- Gym? I’ll think about it after one last snack.
- Swimming? Maybe after I evolve into an amphibian.
- Driving? I’ll let self-driving cars figure that one out.
Honestly, who needs to complete a to-do list when you can just rewrite it every year?
