Love – The Ultimate Hero
Hmmm, love—the ultimate hero of this chaotic, Bollywood-style movie we call life. It shows up in the most unexpected ways, wrapping you in its warm embrace even when the plot gets too dramatic. For me, love is everywhere—in relationships, in little gestures, and, of course, in my real-life Tom & Jerry moments. Feeling loved in these instances has made a big difference. Let me tell you where I’ve truly felt it.
1. Tom & Jerry: The Love Saga
Let’s start with the one constant in my life—my better half. Some days, I’m Tom, the troubled soul trying to catch a break, and she’s Jerry, darting around, effortlessly solving life’s puzzles. Other days, I’m the Jerry causing chaos (or so she claims), and she’s the Tom, standing tall, dealing with my quirks with patience and love. Feeling loved by her keeps me going.
Love, in our case, isn’t about grand gestures—it’s in the little things. It’s in the way she knows my coffee habit better than I do, or how I’ll pretend to watch her favorite show just to sit beside her. It’s chaos, it’s fun, and it’s the reason I’m still breathing amidst the madness.
2. My Niece and Nephew: The Real Tom & Jerry
Enter the second Tom & Jerry duo in my life—my niece and nephew. They fight, they team up, and they somehow always find a way to shower me with unconditional love. Feeling the pure, uncomplicated love from my niece and nephew is one of life’s greatest joys. Gift them something? They’ll hug you like you’re the last piece of cheese in the world. Forget to gift them something? They’ll still hug you—just after a dramatic “But why, chachu?”
Their love is pure, uncomplicated, and straight out of a cartoon episode. It’s the kind of love that doesn’t ask for anything except your time (and maybe a few chocolates).
3. My Friends: The OG Crew
Finally, we have the friends—my real-life kabhi khushi, kabhi gham gang. These are the people who’ve seen it all—the highs, the lows, and the “Did I really do that?!” moments. They’ve stuck around, offering unconditional love, whether I deserved it or not and always making me feel loved.
They’re the ones who’ll roast you for your bad decisions but also show up with pizza when you need it most. They’re family, minus the drama, and I’m grateful for their love every single day.
Love Is the Hero of My Story
Whether it’s my better half, my Tom & Jerry duo of niece and nephew, or my friends, love has always been there, holding me up, keeping me going. Feeling loved in these unique ways is incredibly special. It’s in the laughter, the chaos, the hugs, and the “I’m here for you” moments.
Life might be messy, but love makes it worth every scene. And for that, I’m forever grateful.
Your Turn:
So, tell me, where have you felt love in your life? Is it in your family, your friends, or even in the little moments of chaos? Share your story, because love deserves the spotlight!
Yours in laughter, gratitude, and a little bit of chaos,
Lucifer Morningstar
